UPDATE:

Alright, my last shot at improving the mix, what do you guys think?

Should I give labels a shot or just put it up for free download?

------------------------------------

Well I know I posted a preview of this earlier but since it's finally fully finished and the mix has been completely redone I thought a repost was warranted.

So I'm pretty happy with the arrangement, judging on the feedback I get I might revisit a couple shody instrument choices that are bugging me but I couldn't find suitable replacements for but my biggest worry is, of course, the mix. This is the first time that one of my songs has sounded satisfactory (minus master volume) through all of the speakers and headphones I've listened to it through but I have zero faith in my ears when it comes to this aspect of productions, so all feedback is appreciated!

I'm not even going to try asking the question that shall not be asked.

One last bump. Would love to hear some advice on fixing this mix.

To my mind the whole track sounds a little muddy and thin. It feels like there was a highpassfilter on most of the instruments. I also think that kick lacks power and the main lead needs to be _bigger_ :D Anyways for me the melody sounds nice and it's a track that makes you feel good/happy mood :)

And for me it helps to check similar type tracks and compare their spectrum to your track... :D

Thanks for the feedback. I'm starting to think the culprit for the muddyness is the repeating chord plucks that you can hear in the outro around the 5:00 mark.

God mixing has to be the most frustrating thing on the planet.
