So, despite the usual (typical) mixed responses on here, will we be seeing any of you on twitter at 6pm BST today to quiz Bruce & Nick?

That sounds cool...I think they need more remixes on 'big' releases for starters.

My guess is the tracks in this type of category most likely won't be remixed.

It still would make more sense to have a 3rd label, one that is experimental and just has tracks like these.

dunno if you know this but jinxster and keyworth already teamed up for a remix and a package is to follow!

Personal Anjuna Hall of Fame

2011 Dusky - Stick By This

2012 Above & Beyond - Prelude (James Grant & Andrew Bayer Remix)

2013 Andrew Bayer - Dedicated To Boston's Waste Management (Keyworth Remix)

Because labels are in the habit of releasing music they don't believe in?
Get on it, get off it, get with it!

Most of this thread isn't about Bird is the Word. How sad, it's a superb track.

Hairs on ends every time I think about those stab synths.

There have been many ear friendly tracks released on Anjuna in the last twelve months - a huge variety of outstanding production in fact.

That's not true, it all has "no soul" and is made for the clubs and not people sitting on a chair by the pc......

I love how it sounds in the club, I love how it sounds at home, I love how it sounds on the train or on the way to work. Anjunabeats is still the soundtrack of my life and it is still so unique, beautifully produced and conceived the music works everywhere.

I really don't understand how you can have the opinion that tracks like "Lose Sight", "When You Loved Me", "Pink Skye", "Sinai", "Only Totally" and "Under my Skin" have no soul? This for me is a quite ridiculous opinion, I'm not sure you can even have listened to these tracks if you think that.

Pretty sure PaulAbsolute was being sarcastic...even still, your comment holds valid truth that is a good response to many comments here.

When you actually start to list tracks though that do have this "soul" thing that people keep referring to...people usually come back and say you're just "handpicking" the few out of the many. Been their, done that. Then went back their, did it again.

LOL

I've barely heard these new tracks live which means 99.99% of the time I'm doing some good ole fashion at-home listening....as are many of the other fans.

I deliberately posted the majority of tracks released in 2013 on Beats. When you look at the whole list it's even more comprehensive and diverse...

Of course there have been songs released on Anjunabeats in 2013 which have "soul",

this is not one of them, this doesn't mean the label is sh*t, just don't buy it and wait for a other track like "Lose Sight" or "Pink Skye".

Surely they will release tracks which is less club-orientated in the future.
