Dinka material on AnjunaDeep So many releases, but so few on Deep

Hey Guys, this is mainly aimed at the proggier audience, im sure those of you who are fans of Dinka love their tunes. They are always releasing new tracks, but is it just me or does none of these tracks every get released on Deep, so many of Dinka's tracks always getting released elsewhere.

The reason i'm saying this is because i remember TATW like last year and in 09' where tonnes of dinka material would be played on TATW, Now there is never any dinka stuff going on. Mat Zo however is singed to Anjuna and he always releases on that label, I thought Dinka was singed to Anjuna. Have they been dropped or something?

If so, that would be a big shame in my opinion.

I would love to see their next album released on Deep, or maybe even their next single. They would be better to release it on Deep rather than Unreleased Digital! :P

Thoughts on this?

This was dinka's latest single. Lovely track

I think the reason that Dinka doesn't release much on ajunadeep is because they prefer to release primarily on Christian Hirt's (half of Dinka) own label Unreleased Digital.

I guess they like to send material to other labels now and again to get more publicity.

Is Dinka a group? I always thought it was one woman only :P

Love this tune by the way!

I think Dinka just releases tunes on Deep for a refresh of interest with the Deep audience (and to support the label of course Posted Image)

They're big enough to promote their own label now though, and it's probably more beneficial for them to release on their own label.

I guess so, it's a shame they don't release more on Deep, surely they would reach more people s Deep is one of the biggest prog house labels!?

Dinka shit all sounds the same. The only tracks released on Deep are the ones that have a distinctive sound that are a nice departure from the monotonous 'Dinka' sound.

Yea, I think they finally realized that basically all Christian Hirt does for this group is recycle old sounds

it sounds very alike to a lot of other Dinka tracks and so you can see why Dinka does not release more on the label.
Once in a while is fine but over and over again, as in the past is unnecessary
Also Deep is bringing in lots of artists who are not what they typically brought in say 2 years ago.
Overall I'm glad I get to hear Dinka once in a while

Everyone moans when people like Arty change their style and no longer produce the same stuff they used to.

And with groups like Dinka who stick to their roots, people still moan because it all sounds the same...

C'est la vie.

Sounding the same and changing style isn't the same thing?

But it really would't be Dinka if it sounded any different :D

Yes and those weren't the best choice of words maybe, but my point still stands. It's not as if Arty has changed to rap music, and it's not like every Dinka song really sounds exactly the same.

Right...I assume you don't want Proff or Michael Cassette to release anything that sounds like their signature melodies either, amirite?

Der's a fooking differnse. Eye meen, tayke Marcus schossow 4 example. Sig sounds, but tracks are usually diverse. Cassette and Proff are the same, they mix it up a bit. Wit Dinkers, each trak is just a continuation of the one before it.

Israho, here's your homework: listen to Civilisation, then Zero Altitude, then Aircraft. Just as signature as the artists I listed above, and each of these songs differ in melody tremendously over the last. They all evoke the same vibe, I'll give you that, but they aren't a "continuation of the one before it"

NOOOOOOO they're not. sleeping beauty sort of is. listen man. those tracks came first. then dinka copy and pasted them over and over. the stabs are pretty damn similar but the rest is different.

Isn't it right for artist to have that signature sound?

Dinka's melodies are always stunning.

Michael Cassette is another artist who within the first minute of listening, you instantly know which producer it is.

In my opinion instant respect for that, to actually carve you your own trademark sound, that's a job well done i reckon!

From their album Tales of the Sun. Great tracks all the way. I really love the Dinka sound, whether it's monotonous or not.

Still blasting 'Aircraft' every day :D
