Definitely agree. It seems house has come full circle: This "progressive house" is really starting to sound like the stuff that house started on. Much more subtle and simpler melodies with some big club bass...that doesn't exactly scream progressive does it? I guess since it seems like the whole EDM industry now-a-days is trying to be "progressive", the real prog stuff found a refreshing way to differentiate.
I've always enjoyed the Deep comps more than Beats, but never before have I liked Beats less and loved Deep more. The future really is Anjunadeep.
And where's Jody Wisternoff? Is hiding all his stuff until his album??

I want to agree with you, but here is why I don't:
Deep material is admittedly amazing, and much better than a lot of the shit coming out on Beats these days. However, deep tracks take a sort of patience that I feel most people don't always have. Whereas Beats track take no patience because they're so..."in your face" for lack of a better word. They're quick, they're punchy and to the point. They don't take patience, unless of course we discuss the patience needed waiting months in between actual good tracks : /
I obviously cannot speak for everyone, but this is something that I've noticed among many others, other than myself. I've always found deep/prog tracks to be far superior to trance. But, they've never been everyday/anytime sort of tracks. They're "special mood" type of tracks.
EDIT:
Deep tracks don't require nearly as much patience as say the sorts of tracks Digweed plays on transitions, but they take patience nevertheless.
