It occurs to me that I've got a lot of people attached to me on Facebook through my normal facebook page via their FB login here, but I don't necessarily see their artist activity.

did you make your Facebook fanpage before your first release, or after that? The point is: I have already several remixes, and some original tracks (none of which are signed to a label) so it makes no sense for me to have a facebook fan page. On the other hand some of the labels require that you have a fan-page, a website, a twitter, and basically a certain amount of fan-base that you can attract if you get released... So it seems to me like a recursion

I Think its better if you make when you get your first release ready and get some more ready for the next months

I made my fanpage well after I had plenty of releases, always been really lazy when it comes to self promotion. I think infra suggested I make one so I did lol.

My artist page is essentially the facebook equivalent of domain cybersquatting right now...
