Ehhhhhhhh

To be fair S8&T mixed two CD's. I'll give it a chance, WW3 was pretty good overall.

You have your own record label Anjunabeats and sub-label Anjunadeep; both of which have had several releases already over the last year and many more forthcoming. What artists or tracks should we look out for in 2012?

On Anjunadeep the name on everybody's lips is Dusky. A project from the two guys in Solarity, it really seems to be creating waves out there at the moment and their album 'Stick By This' has had rave reviews. On 'beats we've recently signed Norin & Rad, two guys from California who are right at the business end of Trance 9.6.0 (or whatever iteration we're at!) Plus our regular artists are all doing great. Arty and Nitrous Oxide are sharing mix duties on the forthcoming "Anjunabeats Worldwide" CD, we're looking forward to hearing what they come up with.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
well guys I can give you a good idea of what they will come up with; total horse-crap probably.

Arty is...Arty 2.0, and Nitrous Oxide is now N20 2.0

there will be a couple of uplifters at best (but nothing above 136) and it will be a Trousey-synth overload, with uninspiring melodies and generic drops.

I was really praying for either Oliver Smith or Sunny Lax to mix the other disc, because even though the BPM might not be any higher you're sure to get some quality progressive tunes and something a little different.

It seems like A&B are hell-bent on ruining this series too! Anjunadeep04 is their only saving grace atm

I hope I'm wrong and N2O pulls some original sounding Trance out of the bag, cos Arty sure as hell won't!

he won't be mixing both discs, only A&B do that, hence the WW series are mixed by 2 seperate artists for each disc.

WW01 - Super8 & Tab / Mark Pledger
WW02 - Super8 & Tab / Mat Zo
WW03 - Arty / Daniel Kandi
WW04 - XXX / Nitrous Oxide

nobody said he's mixing both discs

also it's fairly unlikely that an artist like Solarity would mix a WW Volume, Oliver Smith however is much more likely

Yeah that's what would have thought. Yeah Oliver Smith has to do a mix!

I don't like bitching/whining/complaining, however I always like telling how I exactly feel and what I really think.
So...
WHY?

jesus, did no-one else think Arty's mix for Worldwide III was actually pretty good (and D Kandi's as well obviously)?

Don't think so. Worldwide, after 1, has never been mixed well. It's a problem I've noticed anjuna has: amazing artists who aren't very good dj's. I've seen the majority of beats artists who dj and I've never been impressed.

Only good ones were Jaytech, Above and Beyond, of course, and Boom Jinx.

° off anjuna. get off the arty bandwagon, his magic has long gone

There are tons of DJs that deserve it more than he does. so frustrating to see what decisions are being made on this label.

I'm not an Arty hater as so many people seem to be, but I thought they would give someone the chance to mix a CD that hasn't been on it before, like Oli Smith ;)

Nitrous' mix will be decent IMO, but I wouldn't expect his old skool full on style like Red Moon Slide etc.

I am very disappoint that Arty is 2nd disc.

I'm pretty chuffed with Arty & Nitrous Oxide, don't get the Arty hate at all although I haven't been that into his more recent stuff. Nice and diverse I reckon it will be. Maor Levi, Bart Claessen and Sunny lax would all be amazing but I think it's fair to say they don't quite have the same global appeal at the moment bar possibly Levi! Arty is touring allllll over at the moment and that's going to work in his favour, it's not exactly rocket science.

AnjunaHQ: Chris, if you want to mix Worldwide 04 you have to do something for us...
Chris N2O: Quiting uplifting trance and starting trouse 'n' farts? No problem.
AnjunaHQ: Deal.

dead serious.

they're good because they're great performers and generally play the kind of music I like. Technically, as DJ's, they're average. About the same skill set your local dj has. But as we all know, it's more than just skill that makes a good DJ(s).

I will admit though, that when I go to, two or more of they're show's in a row--in nearby cities--i'm always let down by the fact that they play the same exact set. Wish they would just get into it a bit more, get crazy and play whatever they're really feeling. But again, can't really blame them for that. All big name DJs do it.

Now we do agree, Sir.

Still think Jaytech owns them tho, since he's always playing fresh stuff, perfect mixing, and knows how to read the crowd. I would not put A&B in the same level as him, but they do a good Anjunabeats promotion work, and they are fun to see live, that's for sure.

That's the strange thing with Nitrous Oxide - when playing live he turns 138 BPM trance all the way in, but when mixing CD's/producing own songs he chooses the 132-way.. I asked him last time I saw him why that is, and he replied "uplifting is boring to produce, it's old now" :/
