How to create this type of sub bass

I've been wondering how some producers get this really nice pulsing sub bass or perhaps arpeggiated sub bass. I'm not sure how to explain but it has this UMF to it, hope you guys can put down suggestions! :)

find a sub bass you like, incrase the attack a little so its not snappy at the beginning, short decay no sustain and short release, pretty simple to be honest.
edit: if you just browse through your bass patches find one with a nice low end and just reduce the cutoff freq and adjust the filter and amp envelopes accordingly. make sure your sub oscillator is set to triangle or one of of you oscialltors set to sine.

Thank you :). I actually no problem making the sub bass sound, but more the pattern how it's being played. I've tried on my own but it seems to sound muddy and doesn't really have any swing to it, could it be compression or even sidechaining to some part of the bass?

This is my try, I used 2 sylenth1 patches I made. One is doing the low end to give the kick some power, and the other I made a pattern with higher notes.

bass sounds too loonnng. use the envelope to get the bass sounding tighter to get itlike that first AVB song. and more notes on the pattern.
