"Another dependably excellent instalment from the Anjunadeep stable" **** - DJ Magazine

With the past two editions both hitting #1 in the iTunes Dance Albums Chart, “Anjunadeep 04” mixed by Jaytech and James Grant arrives with the label in ruder health than ever before - as evidenced by a recent DJ Mag nomination for Best British Record Label.

The last 12 months has seen the Above & Beyond imprint unveil one of house music's hottest new talents in Dusky, whose album "Stick By This" has been acclaimed by everyone from DJ Magazine (“an intoxicating album full of live and flashes of brilliance") to Pete Tong - with Tong naming it as one of his favourite albums of the year - while other Anjunadeep artists such as Matt Lange and Andrew Bayer on the label have blossomed. The former being described by Zane Lowe as "progressive club at its finest" and the latter's "It's Artificial" LP winning plaudits from DJ Mag, Zane Lowe again and even Nick Grimshaw.

Showcasing tracks and remixes from acts like Dusky, Tom Middleton, Maceo Plex, Vincenzo and Solarity, “Anjunadeep 04” mixed by Jaytech & James Grant is the latest showcase of the label’s evolution; a 28 track journey through deep house, immersive melodic grooves and modern progressive.

I remember first hearing the Anjunadeep 2 preview on YouTube Posted Image

I had no idea what was going on, all I knew was that it was bloody amazing. Deep 3 kept that feeling going for the most part, so here's hoping Deep4 will be the same despite the fact I'm more experienced with Prog House.

I believe that 02 was the best out of the released three. I hope 04 can top that!

For me, each edition has been an improvement (from great to greater). Cannot wait for this, that will hopefully follow the trend :)

Can we go back to previewing a new tune/track every day before the release? I liked it when they did this back in the Volume 7 days.

Very very excited. Still praying for a new 16 Bit Lolitas on Deep, it's been too long. And maybe a return of Eelke Kleijn. Still loving his 'Memoires/Music In My Pants' EP

I eagerly await the return of Jamie Matrix, 16 Bit Lolitas, Paul Keeley, Boom Jinx & Andrew Bayer (probably not), PROFF, and of course Martin Roth. But above all else I'm excited to see what new artists come in to play. One that immediately comes to mind was the addition of Vincenzo. I believe his style as well as more of Jody Wisternoff and Dusky could add another level of class to Anjunadeep.

how could you forget the addition of Envotion - sure to be included in this edition and I am always hopeful of DAVI
damn release the tracklist already

Would be awesome to see some of the old guard back. See if Jamie Matrix can top 'Gold Rush', some new stuff from Interplay (who can forget 'Room Service'), maybe some Roddy Reynaert and new stuff from Michael Cassette.

One can only hope

Some Dusky for sure. Hoping for some duality of Dusky and Solarity. Hopefully fresh DAVI, Matt Lange, Boom Jinx, Andrew Bayer, Oliver Smith, PROFF, Jody Wisternoff, and Paul Keeley. Maybe another Hernan Cerbello signing? Or Sergey Tkachev? "Alien & Butterfly" release was massive all around.

Alien & Butterfly
This track was lush!
New PROFF would be nice to hear, as would a Jamie Matrix track like Gold Rush. Was mad for that track when it came out!
Would love to see more from the usuals as well (Boom Jinx, Andrew Bayer, Matt Lange, 16 bit perhaps? Soundprank, I'm sure i missed some but you get the point :))

no offense but less of the usuals please - just 16BL and Paul Keeley from the usuals and a whole lot of new people would be just fine i.e a lot like 02

I'd rather Jimbo and James just chose the tracks they thought fit the theme of the series. Fan input is rarely a good thing.

how dare ye :P
I would love to remember a certain thread here where the so called 'hating', 'biased', 'one dimensional' users pointed out all sorts of artists and tracks that I would say fit the bill most brilliantly.
And this happened somewhere in November, set to motion by one FB update by James Grant.

Sorry, I have to stop dreaming
