A two time <b>Webvote Winner</b> on <b>TATW</b>, <b>Boom Jinx feat. Justine Suissa</b> "<b>Phoenix From The Flames</b>" gets a fresh twist for 2012 with two contrasting remixes.

Featured as a flagship track in <b>Above & Beyond's TATW400</b> set, <b>Maor Levi's</b> remix of "<b>Phoenix From The Flames</b>" takes a more progressive route than the original - laden in rich grooves and deep musical textures.

Building up the energy and anticipation, <b>Maor</b> illuminates the beauty of <b>Justine Suissa's</b> distinctive vocals in an epic breakdown - paving the way for a piano-laden release.

The Finnish enigma <b>Michael Cassette</b> then steps up to a plate. Delivering a typically well crafted remix, <b>Michael Cassette</b> weaves glacial electronic melodics and robotic funk into an electronic house odyssey.

Was listening to the original again on my run today and was thinking this needed a remix. Unfortunately neither do it for me this time. Maor Levis is okay for the big room type stuff. I thought MC did an awesome remix on electrified but I dont really think his remix of this is anything special.

It's difficult to remix a track which is already in its perfect state. However, Michael Cassette once again pulls off a great variation.

I °ing adore Justine, Boom Jinx, Maor, and Michael Cassette. But I just don't like these releases. I don't know why :(

The vocals seem to "get in the way" of a fine instrumental.

You tried "The Blizzard & Omnia" mix? That one is truly beautiful :)

I did enjoy that remix better than the original. But I guess I was looking for something that would really take the track to another level so to speak.

Super8 & Tab (pre-Empire) could offer something special, as could Sunny Lax or Rank 1.

although I'm happy with all of the remixes:

Original Mix - 8/10
The Blizzard & Omnia Remix - 9/10
Maor Levi Remix - 9/10
Michael Cassette Remix - 9/10

Original 7/10
B&O Remix 8.5/10
ML Remix 6/10

I actually cant pick between these remixes. For me, this has surpassed my expectations. Maor's mix when it drops...you can imagine a club. Whereas Cassette's remix is just pure excellence! Agreed that it would be nice to have a dub option aswell!

I think I was a little harsh on my previous comment. Ill give it a 7.5. That maor levi remix is actually surprisingly good. Sure beats the shit out of the stuff hes released recently AND slightly better than the MC remix

I quite like this release, especially Maor Levi's remix. In general I think for me it is:
Omnia & The Blizzard > Maor Levi > Original > Michael Cassette

Interesting how nobody is overly keen on the Club mix?

Would rather favour the other mixes instead?
