Hello everyone,

The new Myloops website has just been put online. In order to celebrate this, we have just launched our first official production contest !
The idea is very simple : we want to hear what you are capable of doing using Myloops sounds. Send us your best trance production based on one of the MIDI / WAV kits from our Free Starter Pack.

The #1 winner gets a 300 € cash prize, plus 4 downloadable packs of your choice from the whole Myloops collection, plus 2 downloadable packs of your choice from the whole Freshly Squeezed Samples collection !

The contest is running from December 19th 2011 to January 27th 2012. So apply using the link below, download the free pack and get moving !

Listen to the 3 construction kits included in the Free Starter Pack :

Apply for the contest and download the Starter Pack

Hopefully this will be an inspiring competition for budding and experienced producers! :)

Im definetly in!! Just start remixing a TO1 Kit 2 (What Dreams May Come) :D Amazing pad ;)

Btw I have a little question. Can I change a bit pad notes? Or it must be the same like in MIDI file?

The rule is an empirical one : the main idea is that the chord sequence has to be recognized :) The track will definitely NOT be disqualified if a couple of notes have been changed in the pads, as long as the overall sequence is recognizable.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask :)

What sort of samples are you providing in this package?

I cannot listen atm, because i'm at work but am curious...

Is there a next Trance Elevation planned? The last one was not bad at all! :walkman:

Hi Ferio :)

The pack contains :

  • 1 kit from Trance Cosmos : Elements Volume 3 (this one is a construction kit containing all elements as WAV + MIDI + Multisamples for the melodic parts). This includes drums, basslines, FX, pads, synths and so forth.
  • 2 kits from Trance Obsession Volume 1 (each one is a construction kit containing a set of MIDI files). You can hear these 2 kits in action in the Trance Obsession Volume 1 MP3 Demo).

You may pick the kit of your choice within this pack to make your track !

Regarding the Trance Elevation series, its future is planned already and I am currently working on it :)

Hi Ethillas,

You can show previews to people and post a preview of your track online if you wish, that is not a problem :)

Good luck !

Hi Tygris,

The rule to follow is to use the chord sequence (string / pads) from one of the kits. This will be the "base" of your track; if, after that, you wish to use some other parts (MIDI or WAV) from the two other kits, that's fine ! :)
