Nitrous doing what he can with this current percussion focus... best bit for me is in the break... still retains the signature trance sound that made this label great

Not the Nitrous Oxide I knew and loved.Thats just some shitty Electro style trance.I was hoping for some uplifting high bpm stuff :/.

this remix blinded me when i heard it. when he brought back that gorgeous melody a second time, the room must been on fire. and i could feel that bass line all the way from beirut.

This is uplifting.. If you count this as Electro then you sir have your shit messed up
If it a lower BPM doesn't mean it's not uplifting

not that I agree with that Electro comment in any way, I must say that I would have been a better remix if it was running at 136-138 e.g. "Anjunabeach"

very solid synths and it works well in a club but not N2O's brightest moment

Wy don't you just pitch it up yourself?

#11 User is offline   AnjunaCrasher

could do, but it's just making the point that N2O is certainly lowering his bpm track by track, and some people are not happy about it because it's not what he made his name doing.

his best tracks and remixes are usually over 136

I'm guessing that this runs at 132?

Its actually 135, and AB could have lowered it down for the set.

really, how did u find that out?

well that's pretty much the going rate these days for uplifting trance

anyway it's a good remix that should be released as part of a remix package (just like "Phoenix From The Flames"), so far I'm not sure who's attempting it but I hope it's Rank 1 or Duderstadt

sounds like the good ol' nitrous oxide to me...

N2O latest tracks deceived me but im really liking that one. The bpm is higher than ipeople or cr8 and I like the fact he doesnt use a big club pad (thing we see too much these days) I also liked that he made a complete bassline after the break, wich make it way beter than the original to me. this remix is more trancy than anything in anjuna in the past few months and it gives me hope :)

Now i need a release anouncement :|

That's a good track, just downloaded it!

Anyways, back on topic . . .

I think this version of Formula Rossa is absolutely amazing, it's got that classic N2O atmosphere in the break, plus that INSANE bassline. Dare I say it N2O has quite a few decent basslines under his belt at this point.

And this is in no way electro in any sense of the word, having a really super fat-ass bassline at <138 BPM doesn't make your track electro. Rather, this is the "classic Anjuna sound" as it manifests itself in 2011, as opposed to some of the techier/proggier stuff brought to the table by Mat Zo, Jaytech et al. My only bone to pick with the track (which has nothing to do with Nitrous Oxide) is that in many ways it follows pretty much the same formula as Anjunabeach, but considering how much of a smasher this track is in its own rite I couldn't care less.

Exactly

I find the n2o remix pretty boring! Loosing interest in that sort of trance.
