The guy has made dance music massive around the world, and is doing what he loves.
Not that we need to like his music, or him, but please treat him with respect, like everyone else here.

Being into dance/trance/house/electro/prog/tech/whatever EDM, and disliking Guetta, is like being into punk and disliking Blink 182, i.e - totally pointless.
It's like being into supercars and getting angry at a Ford Mondeo.
The two are in no way associated, all "hating" Guetta does is prove you don't really know anything about music, don't go to any gigs and don't really like it.

Hoping you don't get taken out of context .. waiting for the " Pavvo says he likes the hate David Guetta track" which is clearly not the case , but he has .... you know ..... kinda ..... well....... done as many tracks as Rehaanna , in and out of the charts as often as i open and close my front door... Yes i know he is popular .... but ... when i was at Creamfields and people asked me where i was going , i said (cream tent all weekend) but in particular ",A&B then Paul Oakenfold "... that was me ... others were like ... well maybe sweedes , then you know Guetta and AVB.. it was a floating crowd.. its kinda a "easy come easy go" crowd (not fact at all)
Guetta's popularity grinds against the " more thoughtfull" trance / edm fan as charts is seen as sellout ...
i don't really need to tell you this , you haven't gone down that road , which i am glad...
As i said above , this kind of hate is pointless .. i am not sure "he" has made dance music massive around the world.. there is a top 100 that says as a collective you have all made dance music massive around the world.. And 5th is far more credible than this years no1 (imho)
but them is the rules ... i respect his "all out'ness" he put his mind to it and did it ... i probably won't go and watch the straight to video "life of Guetta" though....

Did he make dance music massive around the world or has he made pop music more danceable so to speak? Its tough to say, as many people in the US who love his music have no idea about other artists who produce dance music. Just the other day my sister said that I listen to "techno" as I was listening to TATW
I don't hate the guy, and I have to give him credit because he was a genius for collaborating with the dying rap and r&b artists in the US. Hes turned into a superstar who produces music that I don't particularly enjoy at all. I hear he was a fine producer back in the day I just cant like him for selling out.

I only hear David Guetta's music if I'm listening to Radio 1, which isn't very often.

If you knew it was a popularity contest from the get go, why make such a fuss now? Because there's less Trance in a non genre specific DJ poll?
Oh dear.

I am hearing Guetta everywhere i go.In clubs,in bars, in radio. I just don't like his sound. Also i don't like the commercial house
with high pitched leads. If you hear it live in clubs the sound is so annoying.I guess it is ok to drop some tracks in a live set but not all the time.
That's why must be a diversity in live djs sets and most of them ,at least in my country, seems to ignore that. They always play the top 50 beatport charts.

This is true ... if it was a trance poll then get mad ,
the fact that he is attatched to trance means we should be glad ,( i am not)
if it was Srillex and the top 10 full of dubstep then we might be hanging on to guetta and saying " well at least he representing trance and made the top 10"
( i personally don't belive anything i just said , but i get where vulpus is coming from ... i think...)
