As the astute fan might have been able to tell, anjuna hasn't released a real uplifting banger in quite sometime. This would lead me to believe that they stockpiled what little is left of 138 uplifting, to release on vol 9.

Can only hope there is some 138 uplifting held back for Vol 9 like Dan Stone, Adam Nickey, 7 Skies etc. But got a feeling it'll be along the lines of what's been played recently on TATW and the latest releases e.g. iPeople, Frequency Flyer.

All I can say is that there's gonna be a banging new tune from Casey Keyworth (Breakfast) in there!

Righttt then so 2 CDs 1 of which will be filled entirely by Arty & Mat Zo fart tracks and the other filled with a mixture of all the other artists progressive tracks with maybe 2 uplifters if we're lucky.

PASS. Prove me wrong A&B... please!

A brilliant thing to note from pretty much all the negative comments with such bizarre/borderline insane comments as "I predict that....." is that they assume that tracks that have already been released will be on there.

Everyone knows the Volume comps (with the exception of Volume 1) consist of tracks not previously released, or at least new remixes of tracks not previously released.

no I'm still thinking it'll all be unreleased stuff, but 1 CD of MatZo and Arty fart unreleased stuff etc etc etc

I really hope the new super8/tab song they've been playing will be on this mix. I lost my mind at Sutra during that track.

So on the last TATW I heard tony mention that there is gonna be 20 tracks. Surely that cant be right as the comps in general have more than 25 tracks

Vol 6 - 30
Vol 7 & 8 - 28
Vol 5 - 26

Or does he mean there will be 20 absolutely new tracks and a few heard ones

The fewer the better imho. Remember, Vol 1-4 were only one disc and, excluding Vol 5, were far superior in quality to the later offerings.

Then again, Anjunadeep is getting away with two discs. Guess it just depends. <_<

precisely man and I think to churn out a proper mix they either need a one disc comp or a very diverse two disc comp. One area where the Deep comps are doing very well is surprising us with new artists on the comp, I hope Beats can emulate that
