Eternal & Alchemy would probably have to be the most underrated tracks on the album. I have just listened to the album in one setting and following that, I listened to Eternal for a 2nd time and shed a few tears. The instrumentation & music in that piece is simply divine and although short in length, captures so many emotions and memories in the listener that you are almost left sitting in your chair in silence for a few minutes, well after the piece has ended, just trying to come to terms at the shear power of the piece.
As for Alchemy, much the same can also be said about it, minus the tears, but in little moments during listening to the album, I couldn't help play back alchemy inside my head and just surrender to the heavenly vocals of Zoe Johnston.

I will be writing a full, detailed review of the Group Therapy album shortly once I get over a few uni hurdles, but in short, I'd like to say that although it's a bit more on the clubby/poppy end of the electronic music spectrum, the music composition of all the songs and vocal delivery of Zoe & Richard (especially Zoe) in the vocal tracks, are supremely amazing, and lend the tracks to not being 100% pop in feel but be more of a hybrid of influences arranged under a clubby/poppy template. Not to mention, the production quality is 1st class, the album soundscape and songwriting very much have the Above & Beyond signature signed on it, and the album doesn't give a sense of listening fatigue despite it being 70 min - I guess the relative shortness of the tracks (compared to BT's album for example) and their more upbeat grooviness lends itself to a more "on the edge of your seat" listening experience than otherwise.

Rating: 8.5/10 :walkman:

Are you done with that yet? Great review so far

i think Prelude won because it's the only trance instrumental in the album, nothing else!

In my opinion, Alchemy is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. It shows the power and emotion of electronic music when done with feeling, soul and technical mastery and it's one of the reasons why I make music.

To be able to make such a piece of artwork and have it touch the hearts of millions of people must be truly rewarding :).

I absolutely LOVE all tracks (except 2 - "Giving It Out" & "Every Little Beat").
But "Sun In Your Eyes" is something else... It's one of my all-time A&B favourites.

Prelude is one of the best tracks of last year. Better than every other track on the album
