Hi all,

In the new found spirit of forum discussion, I was just wondering what everyone's first Anjuna purchase was be it Vinyl, Mp3, CD or Merch?

Anjunabeats vol 2 CD, I think.

I don't DJ and don't buy vinyl anymore (haven't since around 2000) so I tend to just buy the compilations and digital downloads.

Free State - Different Ways.

Though technically you could say it was Fragma - Everytime You Need Me with it's excellent Above & Beyond remix, first time I heard of them.

Yes, I used to like Fragma, feel free to take the piss.

meh, toca's miracle was one of the first tracks to get me interested in dance music. credit to fragma!

looks like my first ever anjuna purchases were the oliver smith remix of ashes and the club mix of on a good day, off itunes via the A&B trance nation album...

...but i've acquired another 470 tracks since then so i don't suck that badly

I liked one song, Toca Me (In Petto remix) but after that they turned a bit :hang:

In Petto Remix was quality, but always hated the butchering that was Toca's Miracle!

I've got this on vinyl too, wicked remix at the time! :D

turns out the one i liked was the inpetto remix... so what's the difference between toca me and toca's miracle?

EDIT: toca's miracle must just be with the vocals over the top, right? i also just found out inpetto = duderstadt. damn all these aliases.

It's been some time so I can hardly remember what I got first.

First CD was Anjunabeats Volume 2 and first vinyls were bought together, No One On Earth, The Promise, Circuits, Guanxi, Falling Anywhere, Cre8, Alt+F4 etc.

Thanks. Only said Four because it had Smith & Pledger - White, but I've bought compilations based on one track before and regretted it Posted Image. Will have to have a youtube session and make an educated decision Posted Image

my first anjuna purchase was Above & Beyond Tristate cd. now i own every anjuna cd collection, also have quite a selection on anjuna vinyls too. Fave album is Anjunabeats Vol.5, still played regularly on my ipod, and my fave track definitely has to be Oceanic, whenever i feel down, i play that track and it always lifts my spirit. i also have Good For Me as my alarm tone on my phone too. Long live Anjunabeats, Long live Above&Beyond!!

Speaking of individual tracks, it was probably Satellite. For albums, I bought volume three & tri-state together. (from anjunashop!)

My first, and was even the track that got me into trance,
Nitrous Oxide's "Far Away" Ronski Speed Remix. I LOVE IT. :walkman: :walkman: :walkman:
