Went to my first A&B show in Minneapolis last night, thoroughly enjoyed myself . . . for some reason the opener was playing like funk/disco house but other than that a perfect night!

It's ok, you're in a safe place now.

Just wondering, what's the attraction? I used to watch stuff like The Powerpuff Girls in the late 90's, and people tell me MLP sort of reminds them of TPG so that tempts me to watch it. But it's hard to deny it's essentially a show about ponies for girls 6-10.

I used to watch TPG but TPG is nowhere near the awesomeness of MLP, IMO. I really like the animation style of the show, so I guess that must be the primary reason :D

what is the lyrics to Avalon.

I'm thinking is something like this, but not entirely sure: "So long to the ordinary, so wrong to expect to stay the same always. Takes a while to grow, takes a while to past after raveling our ways."

Well that's fair enough, the Flash style animation is pretty unique for a TV cartoon Posted Image

Many of you may have already seen that, but Arty & Mat Zo announced a new collaboration yesterday. Apart from this, in a new interview Arty says

Quote

I finished an instrumental track with a vocal on it that is really close to Coldplay. It is a female vocal but it is very strong. Another track I made is kind of a dubstep track at 140 BPM. It sounds really cool and I have a really big vocalist – you will recognize her. SHE is really big. The vocal she did for the track sounds so amazing.

as well as

Quote

I have new tracks coming up with different styles and genre. It will be such a big range between BPM on tracks. I will try to make some really proper close-to trance records as well.

Anyway, this was just to inform

I was hoping the interview source would give some hints but seeing it's from a general EDM site I'm pretty stumped on who the famous vocalist could be.

I was thinking those two as well :) Or perhaps someone a little less famous (ellie goulding, florence and the machine etc)

Btw why is it so bloody hard to get people to like trance? I show a friend prelude (andrew bayer & james grant remix) he says too slow. I show him Mat Zo - Its Yours, he says not enough bass. I then show him Tokyo by Gareth Emery (original) and I don't think he likes it. Damn, what I would do to know someone irl that likes at least one trance artist i like (or house, or progressive before you 'correct' me).

My girlfriend likes ATB, Orjan Nilsen, tyDi, Aurosonic... funnily she doesn't like Arty or Mr. Zo, I showed her Zara and said "too much *makes kick sound*" and Superman and said "too fast". She also loves slower songs like Filmic..
