Good luck trying to find a girl in a land dominated by what seems to be 12 year old ''screamo'' enthusiasts

Never really played multiplayer on live, only local splitscreen/fifa , so I have no real idea of what the world of gaming is all about now. I can only guess from my lil brothers room noises, that it involves dubstep, madeon and " no scoping"

That's why you play with friends man. First year I owned a 360 I used to play with the same group of people nearly every night (mix of online and 'IRL' friends). It's great when you're playing on a whole team with people you know and any cocky strangers get shouted down/piss taken beyond belief.

The amount of people blindly defending Diablo 3's hideous DRM system, despite it's major faults, is actually scaring me. The worst thing is it's not really their fault and have every right to be pissed.

Well you take one of the biggest developers (Blizzard), one of the biggest publishers (Activision), throw in a critically acclaimed series that's been hyped for years and you get one big melting pot of fanboyism.

I agree, and I don't even like halo. Had Diablo III for 1day. Handed it in. Terrible IMO.

Why all the drama everywhere on the web. Never played any form of Diablo, but if I understand correctly, you guys waited a lot right?

Haha really? One day?

Fair enough. Was that because of the login issues, or you just didn't like the game?

In a nutshell, Blizzard thought it would be a good idea make an online connection mandatory for play, even in single player. And surprise surprise, it back fired and pissed A LOT of people off. It's proof once again, that the only people not badly affected by DRM are pirates. The actual customers are getting screwed over, again.

I don't even have the game, probably getting Torchlight 2 instead but it's just dumb.

Pissed people off? I can't really think of a legitimate reason. I see no problem with it because I don't plan on illegally downloading my games, boting to get an advantage or finding a loop hole in the system and exploiting the game. I also don't mind if blizard want to keep an eye on my stats and how I play, where I die, what I'm doing with their game since it will in the end give them more stuff as to make a better game.
What they have done by keeping it online is fine.
Also if people are going to complain about not being able to connect for a few hours on day 1 release of a game that's been in development for 7 years; has one of the most hardcore fanbases of the genre and is a hugely anticipated release then they can get the fudge out to be quite frank.
Who DOESN'T have internet connection who can play a game like D3? If you're playing on a laptop on a bus where you don't have access to internet connection then to be honest you need to get a life

As per; people sending flak to a game that's hugely popular, well crafted and super hyped. For what it is, the games brilliant and I'm happy with my purchase. Been playing 4 player with some mates on release day and it was fantastic.

The only problem I have with it is we waited so damned long for it but that's not a valid reason to call it a bad game.
I plan on getting torchlight 2 as well, played the first one, it was alright. Very repetitive and the art style is a little garish but the second one looks to redeem it but ill make my judgement when I play the game.

Also in answer to that halo comment; halo is for kids. Take that troll.
